Artificial Intelligence on GPUs as we know it today is not sustainable for the next five to ten years. Although we still do not see it coming. The industry and most of the research is focused on speed and accuracy of the algorithms, and energy expenditures are not a major concern for most of the current AI projects (unless you want to build a new LLM model).
